AIHS is seeking candidates for the newly established position of Program Officer, Knowledge Transfer Initiatives (KTI) reporting to the Director of KTI this position will be responsible for supporting the development of the AIHS Knowledge Transfer (KT) plan and managing the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of KTI programs and projects.

The Planning Committee of the Global Implementation Conference invite applications from Canadian graduate trainees conducting research in knowledge translation or implementation science, for financial support to attend the upcoming GIC August 15-17th 2011 in Washington DC. Through support from the CIHR President’s Fund, the GIC is able to support 6 trainees, up to a maximum of $2025CAN towards travel, accommodation at the Conference hotel, and conference registration.
Public Health Ontario (PHO) is developing and implementing new services to support health units in undertaking applied research and program evaluation, education and professional development and knowledge exchange activities. One of these new services is a locally driven collaborative projects stream. This stream will help health units meet the Ontario Public Health Standards by facilitating participation, engagement, and uptake of research and program evaluation activities.
