Shusmita Rashid

Ms. Shusmita Islam is a Research Assistant for the Team for Implementation, Evaluation and Sustainability. Ms. Islam uses her experience working on health policy and social development initiatives to support the planning, implementation and evaluation of local and international projects. She supports a global network that facilitates evidence-based maternal health guideline implementation projects. Ms. Islam has worked with multidisciplinary stakeholders to support the implementation of strategic action plans to enhance health service delivery in low and middle income settings. She received a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Manchester, UK and an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto.
