Nicholas Watters

Nicholas is currently employed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada as their Capacity Building Specialist for the Knowledge Exchange Centre. Nicholas has previously worked in the for profit sector, and also has worked in the NGO sector for the Canadian Agency for Drugs Technologies in Health, the Canadian Diabetes Association, and most recently for the Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance of Canada, where he championed a national network of networks, facilitated and maintained inter-sectoral partnerships, and developed, implemented and evaluated knowledge exchange, marketing and communications plans for all projects. Nicholas is well versed in all communication mediums from radio and tv to internet and new media technologies. Nicholas has served on, and chaired, a number of pan-Canadian health oriented committees including a federal/provincial/territorial Healthy Living issues group, the pan-Canadian Network on Healthy Eating, and the Population Health Intervention Research Initiative for Canada (Communications Working Group)
