This decade marks an important time in the development of the Knowledge Translation profession. Many public sector organizations are developing positions in the KT field, while at the same time, there is an absence of formalized training, educational programs, competency standards, or remuneration benchmarks.
The Learning Institute at The Hospital for Sick Children, is working to develop a Professional KT Certification Program that will be certified/accredited by the Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development (CEPD) at the University of Toronto. The survey linked to this email (see bottom of page) marks one of the first steps to achieving this goal.
