Erika Steibelt

In late November 2012, Erika joined the OACAS. She is leading a team that is developing learning resources (training curricula and practice guides, etc) for child welfare professionals and resource families across Ontario. From 2009 to 2012 Erika was the Team Lead for Knowledge Development and Exchange with the Program Training and Consultation Centre (PTCC), with added responsibility for training part-way through this tenure. PTCC is a resource centre of the Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy, and is managed out of Cancer Care Ontario. Erika was charged with overseeing the development and implementation of an overall knowledge development, exchange and management strategy for PTCC, which includes strategic oversight of province-wide Communities of Practice. Prior to joining PTCC in 2007, Erika worked in international women’s health for four years – focusing on reproductive health and intimate partner violence. Erika holds a Master of Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
