Currently I consult as Knowledge Broker to the Fall Prevention Community of Practice https://www.fallsloop.com/ In 2016 I retired from my position as Knowledge Exchange Specialist in Health Nexus where I worked for more than 25 years. I was responsible for: * knowledge management (KM) systems, processes and procedures * new and enhanced knowledge exchange services and products; * KM policies and practices on copyright, licensing, accessibility, privacy; * Skill/knowledge inventory, resource acquisition and holding procedures; maximize effective use of websites; and * Tools (including technology, frameworks, and approaches) in support of KM and health promotion resource initiatives. Between 2010 and 2013 I did an interchange with the Public Health Agency of Canada's Best Practices Portal for Health Promotion, ensuring high quality content, and sustained quality assurance processes for the Portal, as well as KTE activities within the Agency and with partner organizations.
