The Institute for Work & Health (IWH) is currently seeking a qualified person to fill the permanent, full-time position of Communications Associate.
IWH is an independent, not-for-profit research organization. Our mission is to promote, protect and improve the safety and health of working people by conducting actionable research that is valued by employers, workers and policy-makers.
The Communication Associate writes, edits, coordinates and produces a wide range of IWH products designed to communicate IWH’s research findings and activities in the work-and-health arena. They are the main producer of written, lay-friendly content for the purposes of sharing IWH research findings. They stay abreast of IWH research, assess its relevance to stakeholders, and suggest the appropriate communication product and method of dissemination for relevant research findings. The Communications Associate also plays a key role in writing content for the internal newsletter and intranet.
