Experience as Knowledge Brokers

Hello,

I recently had a terrific conversation with Josee Duquette in Quebec about the work she does in knowledge transfer & mobilization.  I asked her to write a brief summary describing her work and she provided me with a draft that is going through approval with her managers right now.

The idea to host a series of blog entries on Knowledge Broker experience has emerged. I am looking for people willing to to write something brief about their work that we can share on the Knowledge Mobilization Works website and the  Knowledge Mobilization Works blog – with links to your own website and organization.

The format is quite open – as you know, I am willing to be creative. My suggestion is about 400-800 words, conversational and personal with link to examples, written for an audience of practitioners and managers.

So far both David Phipps and David Yetman have agreed to write something.  I am open with deadlines and would like feature about 0ne a week for the next six month+.

Let me know.  If you have other suggestions of people who might be interested, I appreciate your input.

All my best,

Peter

ps: I am feeling mostly better. Flu knocked me out for 3 days and am working at about 70% now.  Love my body but it is temperamental as I put more miles on it.  Does this mean I am now a classic human – not quite antique but not the latest.

  1. Hello Community –

It looks like we will create a terrific series of stories about being a knowledge broker.

So far, I have positive interest from:
    Josee Duquette
    David Phipps
    Melanie Barwick
    Daryl Rock
    Angie Hart
    Kirsten Sears
    Heather Bullock
    David Yetman
    Hal de Lair

(I hope I haven’t forgotten anybody, I was away last week and have still not finished the email pile.)

Let me know if others are interested in contributing something.

As I mentioned above, the content is quite open – conversational, key lessons, 400-800 words about your experience as a knowledge broker/catalyst/leader.

The stories will be posted at both
