MSFHR Science Policy Fellowships

Dear Colleagues,

The Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR), in partnership with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and CIHR’s Institute of Aboriginal People’s Health is excited to announce the launch of a knowledge translation funding opportunity.

Our provincial partners, the British Columbia Ministry of Health, First Nations Health Authority, Interior Health, and Island Health have identified fourteen science policy fellowship assignments across their organizations.

Science Policy Fellowships give health researchers and trainees the opportunity to gain real world experience in evidence-based health policy making by embedding a health research fellow within a policy setting. Researchers from all areas of health can apply to spend six to twelve months in a policy setting where they can participate and contribute to policy making processes while learning first-hand how evidence-informed policy making works.

This funding opportunity is open to candidates at the doctoral, post-doctoral, and new investigator stages.
