Masterclass: Assessing the Impact of Your Research

Join Sarah Morton on Monday, April 30, 2012, 9:30 am-2:30 pm, to get some hands-on experience assessing the impact of research or KTE.

The masterclass takes place in Toronto at the Hospital for Sick Children Learning Institute. The cost is $150 (includes lunch and materials).

NOTE: Registration is now full.

Building on an impact assessment framework developed using contribution analysis, the masterclass will allow you to build a case study of the impact of research and KTE, either on a project, programme, or research centre level. During the workshop you will build a contribution story for your research, assess risks and assumptions and start to identify useful indicators of research impact. This framework could be adapted to report to funders, to build a planning and evaluating cycle for KTE, or to showcase your work.

The Masterclass will be run by Sarah Morton, who has ten years experience of activities to increase the uptake of research at the Centre for Research on Families and Relationships at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
