We are pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the 4th Annual Dalla Lana School of Public Health Student-Led Conference, Public Health 2.0: Exploring Innovative and Participatory Technologies.
The conference, scheduled for September 23, 2011 in Toronto, Ontario, will explore the use of innovative, user-centered and participatory technologies in improving or promoting health and build off the success of last year’s student led conference, The Art of Public Health.
Public Health 2.0 will feature an outstanding keynote address by Dr. Alex Jadad, and informative sessions aimed to create a forum for students, community organizations, academics, and professionals to engage with the subject and with one another.
We are currently seeking submissions from interested students, community organizations, practitioners, researchers and students interested in sharing their research, experience or expertise in the use of participatory technologies in the field of public health. Individuals or groups wanting to exhibit their use of user-generated content, participatory technologies, or public collaboration are also encouraged to apply.
Please see the attached Submission Form and Supplementary Information Form for more details. Applications can also be submitted on our website at www.publichealth2point0.ca. Applications will be accepted until July 15th, 2011 at 11:59 p.m.
