Dr. Nicola McCleary is recruiting for a Clinical Research Project Coordinator to support both the conduct and coordination of implementation science studies aiming to understand how to better align clinical practice in paediatrics with evidence.
The position will span multiple research projects, initially including i) systematic reviews focused on understanding and reducing overuse in paediatric health care, and ii) evaluating the implementation of ovarian tissue cryopreservation as a form of fertility preservation care for children and adolescents with ovaries receiving cancer treatment. Research participants in our studies include patients, family caregivers, healthcare professionals, and healthcare leaders.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of a growing research team and be involved in all facets of research and administrative coordination including grant applications, protocol development and registration, ethics submissions, data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
This position is particularly suited to a well-organized multi-tasker with an attention to detail that enjoys both coordinating and conducting research.
This is a full-time 1-year contract position with possible extension, in a hybrid work environment.
