In the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies (LA&PS)
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Research & Partnerships, and working with the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies & Research, the Knowledge Mobilization Specialist (KMS) supports LA&PS faculty members in generating broad impact by connecting research outputs to target audiences. The KMS works with faculty members to develop targeted knowledge mobilization plans for projects and proposals. In addition, the KMS coordinates with other knowledge mobilization experts, both internally and externally, to ensure that faculty members, trainees, students, and external partners have access to expertise and best practices relating to knowledge mobilization. The KMS will have a detailed knowledge of knowledge mobilization (KM) best practices, frameworks and methodologies, relevant to research in the social sciences, humanities and professional studies, and be capable of engaging directly with faculty members on KM content development.
