Cochrane Child Health is part of the Cochrane Collaboration, an international organization devoted to gathering and summarizing the best evidence from health research to help patients, policy-makers and health care practitioners make informed choices about treatment. Within the larger organization, Cochrane Child Health works to carry out knowledge transfer and exchange activities: bringing the perspective of the child health community to bear on the process of producing child-relevant systematic reviews, and working in the child health community to advocate for the use of the best available evidence in health care decision-making.
