Brief Overview
The RHI KT Specialist will serve to accelerate the transfer of knowledge by supporting research projects and implementation efforts through the use of evidence-based KT methods and tools. The KT Specialist is expected to create internal expertise to effectively develop KT plans for projects plus define appropriate methods and tools to disseminate and integrate knowledge within RHI research projects.
Reporting to the Director, Best Practice Implementation, the KT Specialist will:
· Serve as a KT resource to all external RHI funded projects across the National Clinical Research Network
· Build and maintain relationships, both internal and external to the organization
· Develop and coordinate all KT training across the Network
· Assist with the development of KT goals and measures specific to each study
· Monitoring the progress of KT efforts and evaluate the impact of implementation on behaviour change
· Utilize proven models of knowledge transfer/knowledge exchange/quality improvement to support RHI funded projects
· Improve access to known evidence by supporting the translation of evidence and tailoring it to meeting the needs of various stakeholders
