Supporting the Promotion of Activated Research and Knowledge (SPARK) Training Institute

Recognizing the need for enhanced capacity to understand and implement effective knowledge exchange initiatives, the Mental Health Commission of Canada’s (MHCC) Knowledge Exchange Centre (KEC) will begin hosting an annual nine-month SPARK Training Institute with the overall goal of improving the capacity for implementing effective knowledge exchange practices in the field of mental health, substance use and addictions.

This year, thirty-six fellows will be selected to receive on-site training in St. John’s, Newfoundland on July 11 and 12, 2012, by internationally respected experts in knowledge exchange. This all-expenses paid training institute will be followed by nine months of mentorship and supported learning events.
